The Edmonton Oilers have advanced to the Stanley Cup Final after defeating the Dallas Stars 2-1 in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals on Saturday night at Rogers Place.
The Oilers will now face the Eastern Conference champion Tampa Bay Lightning in the Stanley Cup Final, which begins on Wednesday night in Denver.
It is the ninth time in franchise history that the Oilers have reached the Stanley Cup Final, and their first since 2006.
